Dinner in the Desert

A short drive from the hotel, where the streets of Bikaner surrender to the vast expanse of the Thar, lies a secluded grove of kikar trees, known only to a fortunate few.

As dusk settles over the desert and lanterns are lit, our chefs prepare a succession of courses over open flames, inspired by the hearty fare once served at the royal Rajput hunting camps. Each dish is presented as it leaves the fire, allowing the evening to unfold with leisurely grace.

With little more than shifting sands beneath your feet and a canopy of stars overhead, this is dining stripped to its finest essentials. Fire, flavour and the quiet majesty of the desert combine to create an evening that remains etched in your memories long after the embers have faded.
